Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Qore LLC uses cookies and similar technologies — such as browser local storage — on the Qore Safety website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies and Local Storage?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a site remember information between visits without sending it to a server on every request. Both can be "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by another provider).
2. What We Use Today
Our marketing website is deliberately light on tracking. We currently use only first-party, functional browser storage — no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics trackers:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| qoresafety_theme | Local storage (first-party) | Remembers your light/dark theme preference. | Until you clear your browser storage |
| qoresafety_exit_intent_status | Session storage (first-party) | Remembers whether you've already dismissed or responded to the exit-intent offer, so it doesn't show again in the same session. | Until you close your browser tab |
Strictly necessary technical cookies may also be set by our hosting infrastructure to deliver the site securely (for example, load balancing). These do not track you across sites.
3. What We Don't Do
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- We do not sell data collected via cookies or local storage.
- We do not currently run third-party analytics on this site. If that changes, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
4. The Platform (Signed-In Use)
The Qore Safety applications use cookies, tokens, and device storage that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in, bind sessions to devices, and store captured data securely offline (encrypted at rest) until it syncs. These are essential to the Service and are governed by our agreement with your organization and the Privacy Policy.
5. Your Choices
- You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings; the site will simply forget your theme preference.
- You can block cookies entirely in your browser, though strictly necessary items may be needed for parts of the site to function.
- Because we do not use non-essential tracking cookies, the site does not currently show a cookie consent banner. If we introduce non-essential cookies, we will add a consent mechanism where required.
6. Changes and Contact
We may update this Policy as the site evolves and will post the updated version with a new effective date. Questions? Contact legal@qoresafety.com · Qore LLC, Kansas City, Missouri, USA.
